Support Staff Substitutes
Paraprofessionals ($14/hour), Secretaries ($12.50/hour), Food Service Aides ($12/hour), Custodial ($13.50/hour), and Health Aides ($17/hour for LPNs and $15/hour for CNAs).
To apply for a paraprofessional or support staff substitute position, please submit the following documentation via e-mail to Operations Director Stephanie Kessler, in pdf format: BASD support staff application (available online at Bloomsburg Area School District), current tuberculosis test results, current Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, Federal Criminal History Background Check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Mandated Reporter training certificate, PDE-6004 Arrest/Conviction Form, and Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release(s). Clearances may be submitted in hard-copy format. EOE
Professional Substitutes - With Pennsylvania Teaching Certification

Professional Substitutes - Without Pennsylvania Teaching Certification
The Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit (CSIU) has two programs to help non-certificated individuals become certified as professional day-to-day substitutes on a temporary (through the end of the current school year) basis. Individuals who have a bachelor's degree may complete the Guest Teacher Program, and individuals who are attending college to become educators may complete the Education Major Program.
