On February 21, Bloomsburg High School inducted Class of 1973 alumni Rob Schwimmer into its Graduates of Distinction program.  Pictured above is Mr. Schwimmer, left, and BHS student Forrest Petters during a question-and-answer session with the student body.

Education: Bloomsburg High School and then out into the wide/cruel world of real music work
Career Highlights: Global Tours & Collaborations: Performed worldwide with Simon & Garfunkel at venues like Carnegie Hall and the Colosseum. Played with Stevie Wonder, Willie Nelson, and the Boston Pops. Award-Winning Work: Contributed to Oscar- and Grammy-winning albums, including 12 Little Spells by Esperanza Spalding. Acclaimed Performances: Known for Rhapsody in Blue with orchestra, solo concerts, and adding theremin to Vertigo with The Orchestra of St. Luke’s.
