Hello, Bloomsburg Memorial Elementary School Family! My name is Ms. Brown. I am an interventionist. This is my first year here at Memorial, but I have worked as a Reading Specialist for 18 years at another school district. I am looking forward to working with the students, staff and administration here at Memorial Elementary. My goal is to help students improve their reading and mathematics foundational skills to be successful. 

I graduated from Mansfield University with a degree in Elementary Education. I then went back to Mansfield University as a graduate assistant and earned my master's in Reading. Reading is my favorite subject, as it is important throughout your entire education. 

I live in Hughesville, which is approximately a half hour from Bloomsburg. My youngest daughter is attending Bloomsburg University to become a Biology teacher and she still lives at home with me. My oldest daughter is a travel nurse and is currently in Pittsburg. We have a Shitzu, Bubbles, and a cat, Carlos. I enjoy time with family and friends. I like to read, go camping and working outdoors doing anything when it's not cold.
