• Sick Day Call-Off Procedure

If your child is not in school, you will receive an automated call from our one call system.  You no longer need to call your child off sick, but you will need to send a written excuse to school (within 3 days) stating the reason for the absence.  A parent can write the excuse for up to 10 days of absence during a school year, after which a doctor's excuse is required.  A doctor's excuse is also required if the absence is 3 or more days in a row.  Unexcused or excessive absences can lead to fines. Excessive tardies will add up to days missed so please review our attendance policy. Our attendance policies are in the student handbook, and are set according to state law. Policies can be found on our website as well and will contain the most current information if any policy changes are made. Call the main office at your student's school if you have any concerns or questions.
