- facilitates meetings
- Acts as the point person between school personnel and members
- Communicates with officers regarding job duties/responsibilities and delegate as needed.
- Works with Vice-president to maintain social media and email account.
- Acts as point person for all committee members.
- Coordinates with chairpersons for volunteers and confirms volunteer clearances
- Debit card purchases/ and signature of checks
- Documents that require an official signature pertaining to the organization
- Works with treasurer to draft and maintain yearly budget and tax forms.
Vice President
- Runs the meeting if the president cannot attend
- Takes notes if the secretary cannot attend
- Assists with volunteer sign ups when no committee chair.
- Works with President to maintain social media and email account
- Maintains essentials binder
- Assists president with faculty feedback and requests.
- Facilitates quarterly treasurers audit.
- By-laws expert
Treasurer
- Signature of checks, deposits money, withdrawal monies.
- Works with president to create and maintain budget
- Maintains a monthly report of finances (given at meeting)
- Maintains actual budgets on yearly budget
- Prepares yearly budget to be voted on at June meeting.
- Completes tax forms by July 30th.
- Has all materials needed for quarterly audits.
- Gets all materials to Vice President for essentials binder
Secretary
- Takes notes at all meetings
- Maintains monthly sign in sheet from meeting.
- Generates email list for members
- Provides minutes from prior meetings to president, vice president and principal 7 days post meeting and uploaded to appropriate sites.
- Prepare ballots for voting (May)
- Assists with social media postings
- Gets all materials to Vice President for essentials binder
Fundraising Chair
- Brainstorms fundraising ideas
- Is primary person to run event unless someone else delegated
- Organizes volunteers and communicates with president to get clearances confirmed
- Create a committee if needed
- Communicates with companies/businesses
- Organizes distribution of products
- Provides fundraiser updates at monthly meetings.
- Completes required forms to the treasurer for events
- Follows fundraising procedures as kept in essentials binder
- Creates all flyers, order forms, and communication about fundraiser
- Gets all materials to Vice President for essentials binder
Event Chairpersons- NOT A BOARD POSITION.
- Is primary person day of event unless someone else is delegated
- Recruits additional volunteers and delegates responsibilities
- Creates a plan and budget for event to be voted on.
- Organizes volunteers and communicates with president to get clearances confirmed
- Communicates with Treasurer about funds required and completes forms
- Creates flyers and other information pages pertaining to event
- Gets all materials to Vice President for essentials binder
Auditor- NOT A BOARD POSITION
- Volunteer to assist vice president with quarterly treasury audit.
- Assists Principal with election ballot count.
