    b) 3rd graders made ‘thank you’ cards

    c) Notes in mailbox from Claire Richardson, Nicole Delgatto, & Lisa Keller

    3) Minutes from May meeting

    a) No vote needed

    4) Officers Reports

    a) President: Michelle Davis

    i) Michelle would like to thank everyone for all their help in the ‘22-’23 school year! We learned a lot this year and met all goals (except family event→ran out of time).

    b) Treasurer: Angela Gregory

    i) Angela reports we came in under budget for teacher appreciation. Our bank balance is currently at $12,785.

    5) Unfinished Business

    a) 5th grade gifts- water bottles

    i) We have 25-30 extra water bottles, discussed possibly using them as a fundraiser item, giveaway item, etc.

    b) Retirement gifts- embroidered towels

    i) We do have it in the budget for retirement gifts for next school year (‘23-’24), however we do not currently have any anticipated retirees.

    c) Rohrbachs

    i) Costs: We came in below budget, however, we did run out of strawberries. Melissa Everhart, Food Service Director, donated needed strawberries. Sheet cake cost $42.

    ii) Weis donated ice cream.

    iii) Ron Jones donated bowls.

    d) Field Day

    i) Everything for field day was either purchased or donated

    (1) Field day costs may be up due to mud/lack of grass outside. Items aren’t lasting as long due to needing to be cleaned/washed more often.

ii) Wish lists for next year: We would like to start seasonal wish lists instead of requesting items as needed for every event separately. Seasonal wishlists would be Fall, Winter, Spring and include all items needed for that time period.

    e) Graduations

    i) Backdrops were a HUGE hit! We would like to purchase a balloon pump for future events like this ($20, in budget).

ii) Things to address for next year: nothing on our end, just some traffic flow issues to discuss.

    f) ‘Woot-Woot Wagon’

    i) ‘Woot-Woot Wagon’ for teachers was a success and much appreciated! We would like to have the ‘Woot-Woot Wagon’ visit ~2 next school year for teachers/staff.

    (1) We would also like to start a “Treat Train” for the kids! We will discuss more next meeting.

    6) New Business

    a) Holiday Shop

    i) Unanimous vote to use Holiday Treasures (with 5% profit) for our Holiday shop. We are aiming to have it run Dec. 11th-15th, with a possible shoppers night for families. We will also look into extending past a 5-day cycle in case of snow days, etc.

ii) We will discuss a name/theme for our Holiday shop next meeting

    b) Schedule of events for the year

    i) We are looking for Chairs for scheduled events next year, if available interested, please let Michelle know.

    c) Kiwanis Summer Event

    i) Kiwanis Club sent us a letter inviting us to participate at their 100th Anniversary Celebration at the Town Park on July 15th. We would need to come up with a free activity or giveaway for about ~200 kids and need a chairperson for this event as well. Angela will co-chair.

    (1) Activity idea: design your own canvas bags w/ sharpie

    d) Venmo

    i) Unanimous vote ‘yes’ to open a venmo account

    e) Budget

    i) Two line items to discuss:

    (1) Teacher appreciation expenses: every teacher will receive a $25 gift card to help with classroom supplies

    (2) Teacher classroom event: teachers may fill out a form to request a $25 reimbursement or a $25 card for classroom supplies needed for any special/extra events teacher plans.

    ii) Vote was unanimous

    f) Next year's meeting dates

    i) Our meeting dates will be moving to the 1st WEDNESDAY of the month instead of Tuesday. Vote was unanimous.

    7) Announcements

    a) Michelle would like to thank everyone again that had a role in helping us this past school year. We would not have succeeded without you!

    b) Our next meeting will tentatively be September 6, 2023.

    8) Meeting adjourned at 6:50pm
