• Mr. Manley joined Bloomsburg High School in August 2018 after
    serving as a Social Studies Teacher for 5 years with Shamokin Area School
    District. Prior to his time at Shamokin, Mr. Manley had the unique
    opportunity to work with adjudicated and at-risk youth, primarily in the
    communities of Reading and Philadelphia. His work in struggling
    communities around the Commonwealth has prepared him for a career of
    building up students of all different backgrounds and abilities. He comes
    to our community motivated and with a sense of pride and enthusiasm.
    Mr. Manley grew up in the Scranton area and graduated from Abington
    Heights High School. He received his undergraduate degree from
    Bloomsburg University in History and Education. Mr. Manley is
    Pennsylvania certified in Social Studies 7-12, English 7-12, Citizenship 7-
    12, Mid-Level Science 7-9, and now Principal K-12. Mr. Manley earned his
    Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Edinboro University in
    2017 and completed his Principal Certification Program in August of
    2018.


    Mr. Manley believes that establishing a school culture where students can
    flourish, begins with building relationships. Mr. Manley also believes in
    giving students authentic experiences that will make them life-long
    learners. He is here to facilitate the growth of our school community
    beyond our walls and out to society as a whole.


    During his free time, Mr. Manley enjoys spending time with his family,
    playing guitar, golf, learning new skills, and attending concerts.
