The Industrial Technology classes at the high school are designed to allow students to explore a variety of different engineering opportunities.
Industrial Technology 1-4
Students will study material processing, machine safety, computer-aided machining and design. These courses are designed to be a hands on application of math, science and technology.
Mechanical Drawing
Students will become familiar with a number of different types of drafting methods. Both hands-on and computer-aided drafting (CAD) will be covered. Students will be using AutoCAD LT, Pro/Desktop and Chief Architect software to solve a number of different design problems.
Robotic Design
Students will develop a multiplicity of engineering skills and knowledge through the design and construction of a robot using tools and equipment available in the Technology Classroom.
